MAXIMUS

An old staple returns!

Throughout the 80’s and 90’s one of the most popular regulators in the diving industry was the Sherwood Maximus Regulator. Today, the Maximus returns, but this is no dinosaur.

This new Maximus is one of the most provocative and unique regulators on the market today. The Maximus brings with it the most recognizable and unique features that its predecessor carried: the Under Arm Swivel, the extended 42 inch hose, and the extremely comfortable Wisdom Mouthpiece. But this regulator also has several new features that make this regulator something very unique, such as a One-Touch Adjustment, a SMART Demand Lever, a High Performance Valve Design, and an oversized purge cover. These features deliver a beautifully designed regulator that provides the most comfortable diving experience a regulator can provide.

Under Arm Swivel

Allows the hose to be routed under your arm as opposed to over your shoulder. This allows you to remain more streamlined in the water, especially in tight quarters. This unique hose routing allows the regulator to sit more comfortably in your mouth.

Extended 42 Inch Hose

The longer hose routed under your arm provides a more comfortable diving experience.

Wisdom Mouthpiece

The longer co-molded mouthpiece allows your molars and wisdom teeth to hold onto the 2nd stage, using your larger teeth to hold onto the regulator reduce jaw fatigue. Additionally, the mouthpiece uses two different silicones with a soft black silicone under your lips but a firmer color tabs that provide tremendous comfort.

Oversized Purge Cover

The large vents allow optimal flow of water behind the purge cover and make the diaphragm operation very easy. The diaphragm retainer does a tremendous job deflecting the flow naturally against the diaphragm not to create any issues in strong current.

The Sherwood Oasis Pro is a completely new design and ready to provide you comfort and easy breathing in all diving conditions. The Oasis's new 2nd stage proprietary valve design has been tested in the most rigorous conditions and continues to perform extraordinarily well. Both in the laboratory and in conducted testing the Sherwood Oasis has stood up to every test. The proprietary Moisture Retention Vane does an outstanding job capturing exhaled moisture and returns it upon inhalation. No more cotton mouth with this regulator! The larger diaphragm and purge cover and responsive to inhalation provide easy breathing throughout the dive. And the diver operated Venturi control allow the diver to adjust the setting. The Oasis 1st stage is a completely dry and environmentally sealed 1st stage maintains a clean interior. No gels or liquids to seal the Piston 1st stage design.

OASIS 2ND STAGE FEATURES

• The MRV, dual Vane System uses two similarly shaped vanes; the lower vane is solid and the top vane has 5 moisture capturing vents. The moisture is captured between the two vanes and upon inhalation the moisture returns to the diver.

The Blizzard Pro is the standard for cold water divers during the last 30 years & it has been the “go to” regulator for many. The 9000 Series 1st Stage is a unique and patented design featuring Sherwood’s Air-Assisted Depth-Compensation (A2-DC) Technology. A2-DC responds to ambient pressure changes and uses internal pneumatic force to compensate the chamber. The results are an environmentally sealed and dry 1st Stage that is very responsive to external changing pressures. The Blizzard Pro 2nd Stage features Opposite Pivoting Point (OPP).
